Job Description

Develop graphical designs for user interface of web sites
Design mock up for products, design concepts for online and offline collaterals, animated commercials
Take ownership and responsibility for all creative work.
Ensure the brand image in all forms of visual media.
Should be capable of analysing and understanding the creative specifications from visual perspective.
Coordinate with cross functional groups, like product management, marketing and technology to ensure SOS brand value is maintained internally and externally.
Integrate video, animation, still images, text and audio into the graphical design of the e-Business
Utilise various graphical software tools and technologies to transform graphical concepts into specific electronic applications on and off-line.
Use appropriate pixel and vector based images, typography, live text, Web safe colors, image scanning, and form elements to support the application and quality of the product.
Modify and implement designs generated by others to ensure quality products.
Provide expert analysis and input on others' designs.
Make changes to product, based on feedback from management and users.
Meet with design and technical staff on projects, technical specifications, and deadlines.
Stay abreast of any industry-wide changes in design philosophy.
Stay updated with any new tools and technologies being used for the Internet and ecommerce.
Confer with quality assurance staff to correct performance problems.
Collaborate with Web Master or Web developers on Web design and delivery of graphical content to end users.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in multimedia and designing or relevant with at least 3 years' professional experience as a web/graphic/creative designer with portfolio highlighting print and design capabilities.
Firsthand knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and Dream Weaver
Experience in handling Dream Weaver including (X) HTML, CSS, and advanced JavaScript.
Skilled at building table-free layouts using semantic mark-up and CSS
Knowledge in Adobe Flash with capabilities in Action Scripting
Ability to use sound editing and mixing tools such as Sound Forge could be an advantage,
Experience in conceptualizing,
Should be able to present and execute ideas within a tight schedule.
A passion for creative web designing adhering to W3C web standards keeping in mind user experience and usability analysis.
Decent business communication skills.
